Xodus contracted for major hydrogen project

Infinite Green Energy (IGE, formerly Infinite Blue Energy)  has contracted Xodus Group to carry out the initial phase of work for its $300 million green hydrogen plant.

Located 320 km north of Perth, Western Australia, the Arrowsmith Hydrogen Project is aiming to produce 23 tons of hydrogen per day using solar and wind energy.

Xodus will deliver preliminary environmental impact assessment, environmental impact identification and ad hoc environmental support, including stakeholder consultation for the project.

Xodus will also offer GIS support and manage permits and the flora and fauna surveys for the proposed site, undertaken by a third party.

Xodus Principal Environmental Consultant Naomi Kerp said the company was excited to be supporting a major green energy project.

“Projects like this can help establish Australia as a global leader in the production and supply of zero-emissions hydrogen fuel so it’s fantastic for us to be part of it from the very beginning,” she said.

IGE Ltd secured investment for the project earlier this year.
